Centurion FC is set to make history once again by hosting the first-ever MMA event on the iconic Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. Scheduled for 12th October 2024, this monumental event is a celebration of MMA’s respected presence in Brazil and a chance to give back to the community. MMA is the second most popular sport in Brazil, but never before has an MMA event taken place on the world-famous shores of Copacabana, making this a landmark event, not just for Centurion FC but for MMA as a whole.

Doors open at 6 PM, with the prelims starting at 7:30 PM and the main card kicking off at 8:30 PM, all streamed live on the CFC Arena App.

A Free Event with a Purpose: Donate Toys for Charity

In true Centurion FC fashion, we are making this spectacular event free for all fans! Instead of buying a ticket, fans are encouraged to bring toys for donation, which will go to support children in need from the Santa Marta Morro community. CFC 23 – Copacabana coincides with Children’s Day (Dia das Crianças) in Brazil, making it the perfect occasion to spread joy to kids who need it most. On 13th October at 5 p.m., the day after the event, Centurion FC will personally deliver the donated toys to Santa Marta Morro, creating a heartwarming moment that extends beyond the octagon.

A Star-Studded Fight Card for MMA Fans

The CFC 23 fight card is a well-rounded showcase of mixed martial arts action, featuring both an exciting undercard and a stacked main card. The event will see a diverse mix of fight styles and weight categories, ensuring something for every MMA fan.

The undercard will kick off the night with several bouts across different weight divisions, giving up-and-coming fighters a platform to showcase their skills. Expect fast-paced action as these competitors aim to make a statement early in the event.

The main card brings the high-stakes drama with the Gran Prix 80 kg semi-finals, where four previous Grand Prix Champions will compete for a place in the final later in the night. The event also includes diverse matchups in various weight categories and a K1 kickboxing bout, adding even more intensity to the card.

Capping off the evening are two title fights, where the best in the 70 kg and 77 kg divisions will battle it out for championship belts. The final fight of the night will be the culmination of the Gran Prix 80 kg, where the winners of the semi-final matchups will clash to determine the tournament’s series champion of champions.
